SCREW TYPE STEEL GROMMET SETTERS Our screw type grommet setters work very well and are very easy to use. They work just like our other grommet pliers and can be used to install anklets without casting your birds. Some customers may like this new style better since they take less strength to turn the setter. Our setters are precision turned from quality steel and should last a lifetime.

We now carry five sizes of the screw type grommet setters. 3/16th, 1/4″ 5/16, 3/8″ and 7/16.

ST-550 Size “00”, for 3/16″ grommets. Kestrel up to Tiercel falcon size.

ST-560 Size “0” for ¼ inch grommets.Coopers to Large Falcon

ST-570 Size “1″ for 5/16″ grommets.( Harris hawk Red tail etc.

ST-580 Size “2″ for 3/8″ grommets. Extra lg Red tail, Ferruginous hawk

ST-590 Size “3″ for 7/16th grommets.( Eagle size)

Owl sizes listed below.

3/16″ For Screech owls etc, 1/4 inch for most medium size owls. 5/16th inch for Barn owl size birds, 3/8″ for large Turkey Vultures and Great Horn owls, 7/16th inch for Eagles. For Very small owls you would want to us are regular hand type grommet pliers order number 531A for size 3/16 inch for size 00 grommets.
