Treating your new glove with Mike’s leather conditioner.
We recommend that your new glove if made from Cowhide, Elk or Buffalo hide be treated with a good leather preserver. We recommend using Mike’s Leather conditioner. You should rub it on the glove lightly with your hands or a clean clear cloth not too much and then let dry overnight in a warm are in the house. If there is any grease still on the glove in the morning you can wipe of off with a clean clear cloth. It is a good idea to use only one glove per bird and if your bird has been sick to discard this glove and get a new one.

If I could only afford one glove, this would be the one.
Three layers of soft, supple top grain cow hide make this glove a pleasure to wear, yet strong enough to standup to to heavy everyday use. lt is also easy to clean and care for.
Great size for male redtails to larger Falcons and Buteos.

We have a number of these and absolutely LOVE them!!! Durable, thick and supple, these gloves are great for birds up to large hawks. Would highly recommend them!!!

I buy a new one of these every time I change birds, they’ve always been great and the price is right.

I have been using this glove since late 2021 with my intermewed MRTH. Worth every penny, even after CAD exchange :)!
Tough but supple, it is a very comfortable glove for all that I have put it through. In the winter (down to -40… though I don’t hunt at this temp), I throw in a Little Hotties heat pack to keep things bearable. The three layers of leather does not interfere with feel and comfort.
