This transmitter is used primarily for large shortwings or longwings raptors. Each Transmitter comes with the magnetic on/off switch and a magnetic wand. Range is from 9 – 100 miles depending on the terrain. Battery life is about 3 days continuous before a double beep every 10 pulses tells you it is time to change the battery. It will run an additional 3 days after the double beep warning.
